The International Federation of Catholic Universities is committed to promoting collective reflection on their mission amongst Catholic higher education institutions, fostering academic cooperation in the field of research, as well as the valuation and dissemination of research results towards decision-making communities. Given this and In celebration of the institution 25th Anniversary and IFCU Centenary occasion, It is an honour for Madonna University to be hosting the 2024 IFCU International Conference. This conference is a remarkable milestone for both Madonna University and IFCU. It marks the 25th anniversary of Madonna University and the Centenary anniversary of IFCU.

The conference will bring together scholars and experts from around the world to discuss a wide range of topics related to Catholic higher education. The theme of the conference is “Catholic University, an Educational Project to Respond to the Academic, Human, Spiritual, Political, and Social Challenges of Our World.”

The conference is an opportunity for Madonna University to showcase its commitment to academic excellence and holistic Catholic education. It is also an opportunity for IFCU to celebrate its 100 years of service to Catholic higher education and the society at large.

EMPEDE SELF-HELP PROJECT WORKSHOP

This unique centre was founded by the University's Chancellor, Very Rev. Fr. Prof Emmanuel M.P. Edeh OFR, to provide students with the opportunity to acquire valuable skills and earn income while they study. The workshop offers a variety of projects, including baking, winemaking, bottled water production, soft drink production, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

MUSEUM OF CHARMS AND FETISH OBJECTS

This fascinating museum houses a collection of fetish objects and charms that were surrendered by converted traditional worshippers. The museum is a property of the International Sanctuary of Jesus the Saviour and Mother Mary, Elele, River State, Nigeria, and has been used for research purposes at the University.

MADONNA UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL (MUTH)

MUTH is a modern and well-equipped medical facility that provides quality healthcare services for the University community and the general public. It has a team of qualified and experienced doctors, nurses, and other health professionals who offer a comprehensive range of services, such as consultation, diagnosis, treatment, surgery, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and physiotherapy.

MUTH is also equipped with a modern accident and emergency unit to cater to urgent medical needs. The hospital is committed to providing holistic care to patients.

PEACE, JUSTICE AND RECONCILIATION

This center was established by the International Sanctuary of Jesus the Saviour and Mother Mary, Elele, River State, Nigeria, to provide a peaceful way of resolving issues/ conflicts. The center has helped to resolve millions of family problems, land disputes, marital issues, and other conflicts since its inception.
