Executive Leaders from IFCU Membership gather in Rome for a Leadership Training Program

16 executive leaders from the IFCU membership coming from Africa, Latin America, North America, and Europe gathered this week at the Pontifical Irish College. Representing Madonna University is, the Founder/Chancellor, Very Rev. Fr. Prof E.M.P Edeh(OFR), Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Madonna University Nigeria, Dr. Martin Osita Anagboso, and The Financial Consultant to Madonna University Nigeria, Lady Maria Goretti Omego.

The participants were involved in an interactive pedagogy during this action-oriented program which covered the following topics: Institutional Strategic Development, Catholic Identity and Higher Education, Aspects of the Context of
managing Catholic Universities, the Role of the Rector and senior leadership in effective institutional change and development, Personal effectiveness of the
Institutional Leader.

They could share together analysis, programs, and experiences.

This encounter constitutes a wonderful opportunity for networking and exchange among peers sharing common values and issues around the world.

The International Federation of Catholic University wishes to express its gratitude to the Pontifical Irish College for hosting this gathering and wishes to thank warmly the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross for having welcome us on Wednesday for a whole day of sessions followed by a meeting with the representatives of the institutions which are members of the CRUIPRO (Conferenza Rettori Università e Istituzioni Pontificie Romane).

Our sessions have been enriched by the presence of special guests: Riccardo Cinquegrani (Director of the AVEPRO), Sr. Nathalie Becquart (Undersecretary of the Synod of Bishops), and his Excellency Msgr. Paul Tighe (secretary of the former Pontifical Council for Culture).

Many thanks to them, to the participants and to our academic team that made this event once more a great time of shared experience in the spirit of friendship and trust!
