Biography

Eni, Janeth Oluebube hails from Asaga in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State. She has variously studied at Abia State University Staff School Umuahia Campus, Girls’ Secondary School Umuahia (Holy Rosary Ugwunchara), Federal Government College Ohafia, Goethe-Institut Lomé, CIREL-VB Université du Lomé, Togo, and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she is currently pursuing a Masters degree in German literature. She has taught French at Ndume Otuka Community Secondary School Umuahia, Floriman International School, Umuahia, Abia State, Tony Cheta International School, Nomansland, Kano State, Queen Ad Group of Schools, Sabon-Gari, Kano, and currently lectures at Madonna University Nigeria, Okija Campus. Her area of expertise is Foreign Language teaching and Literature.

Chimmaya (A1/A2 Lektüre): A Simple Story for Beginners of German

Chimmaya is a simple short story in German language, designed for basic users of German language. It is intended to meet the demands of the users’ comprehension skills. It also enriches users’ vocabulary, and is therefore suitable for A1 and A2 Levels according to the Common European Framework for Reference for Language (CEFRL). The book encompases ideal topics for basic users of German, and adopts the Nigerian setting which makes it easier for the Nigerian students to relate well with its characters and plot, thereby facilitating the comprehension of the story as well as the German vocabularies.
