A Life of Academic Excellence
Prof. Martin Osita Anagboso, born in Obudu, Cross River State, is a Professor of Environmental and Petroleum Microbiology. He attended St. Stephen Lutheran Primary School, Obudu, before excelling at the prestigious Government Secondary School, also in Cross River State. His academic performance propelled him to Madonna University, where he earned a BSc in Microbiology with honours, before completing his MSc and PhD at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
He began as a Graduate Assistant at Madonna University and rose through every academic rank becoming a Professor, then Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), and Chairman of the Governing Council of Caritas University, Amorji-Nike, Enugu State.
International Engagements
Professor Martin has participated in distinguished international forums on peace, governance, and development, representing Madonna University on the world stage.
Oslo Centre for Peace Convention
Contributed to global peace dialogue representing Madonna University at one of the world's foremost peace forums.
Bill Clinton Global Initiative — New York
Engaged with world leaders on development and institutional excellence at the prestigious New York summit.
Nobel Peace Prize Summit — Oslo, Norway
Attended the Nobel Peace Prize Summit, underscoring a deep commitment to international scholarship.
