Registration & Entry

Admission Requirements

UTME Entry

Candidates for the five-year programme typically seek admission through JAMB. Requirements include five credit passes (SSCE/GCE) in no more than two sittings:

  • English Language & Mathematics
  • Physics & Chemistry
  • One relevant science subject
  • Acceptable pass in JAMB

Direct Entry

Candidates for the four-year programme must possess acceptable advanced qualifications in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry:

  • HSC or GCE Advanced Level
  • ND holders: Entry into 200 Level (Upper Credit)
  • HND holders: Entry into 300 Level (Upper Credit)

Faculty Transfers

Inter-University or Departmental transfers are permitted after one academic year, subject to conditions:

  • Minimum CGPA of 1.0
  • Application via the Registrar's form
  • Approval by Faculty and Senate
  • Completion before registration week
