Work-Study
Programme
The Work-Study Programme provides financial support opportunities for students, enabling them to earn while they learn and reduce financial barriers to quality education.
Work-Study Programme
Madonna University recognises that financial constraints should not prevent talented students from accessing quality education. The Work-Study Programme provides opportunities for students to earn income through part-time work within the university while pursuing their studies. Students in the programme may be assigned roles in administrative offices, library services, laboratory assistance, campus maintenance or other areas where their skills can contribute. The programme is designed to be compatible with academic schedules, ensuring that work commitments do not interfere with studies. By combining work and study, students develop professional skills, build their CVs and reduce their financial burden.
Financial Support
We are committed to providing our students with the resources they need to succeed both academically and financially. Our innovative financial support programs are designed to help students manage their expenses while gaining valuable experience. Here's how we support our students in achieving their educational and financial goals.
A Model for Nigerian Universities — Madonna University is proud to be the first private university in Nigeria to introduce a comprehensive Student Work-Study Programme. This innovative initiative allows students to earn money while contributing to the university community during their free periods.
Application & Placement
Students apply through the Student Affairs office and are matched to roles based on their academic discipline, skills, and availability — ensuring a productive fit for both the student and the department.
Flexible Scheduling
Work hours are arranged around class timetables. Students typically work 10–15 hours per week during academic sessions, with reduced commitments during exams and extended breaks.
Monthly Stipend
Students receive a regular stipend for hours worked, disbursed monthly. The amount reflects the role's responsibility level and provides meaningful support toward educational costs.
