The Founder's Vision
Madonna University was born from the profound vision of Very Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Matthew Paul Edeh, OFR. He envisioned an institution that would not only produce intellectuals but "total persons" men and women who possess the sharpest minds and the purest hearts.
Recognizing a critical gap in the educational landscape, Fr. Edeh established the university as the first private Catholic institution in Nigeria and West Africa, setting a gold standard for faith-based higher education that blends academic rigor with uncompromising moral values.
