Postgraduate Knowledge
To qualify for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programme, applicants should be graduates of Madonna University or any other recognised university, or persons who hold qualifications equivalent to a first degree.
For Master's degree programmes, applicants should be graduates with a minimum of Second Class Honors degrees. Doctoral Degree applicants must possess a Master's degree with a dissertation and an overall average score of at least 60% (B).
Programme Duration
- PGD: Minimum 2 semesters / Maximum 4 semesters.
- Master's: Minimum period of 2 semesters.
- PhD: Minimum 6 semesters / Maximum 8 semesters.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following structural conditions before being considered for admission into any postgraduate programme at Madonna University.
Credit pass at Ordinary Level in five relevant subjects, including English Language, obtained at not more than two sittings.
NYSC Completion Certificates (Discharge Certificates), Exemption Certificates, or Exclusion Certificates are required.
Remedial candidates must show evidence of having remedied relevant subjects externally through WASCE, NECO, or NABTEB.
Applicants are expected to meet the specific departmental requirements for their chosen academic programmes.
Admissions will not normally be offered without official transcripts and formal letters of academic reference.
Official academic transcripts and three letters of reference must be forwarded to the School of Postgraduate Studies.
