Shaping Academic Excellence
The Directorate of Academic Planning (DAP) plays a pivotal role in ensuring academic excellence, quality assurance, and strategic development across all faculties and academic units of the university. It serves as the central coordinating body for academic policies, planning, and performance evaluation in alignment with national and international standards. Core functions and activities of the directorate include: academic program development and review, quality assurance and accreditation, data management and institutional research and overall strategic academic planning. The Directorate also engages in academic timetabling and resource allocation, capacity building and staff development support, and liaison with regulatory and professional bodies. The DAP remains integral to Madonna University’s pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and community service, continuously fostering a culture of academic innovation and institutional accountability.
