Jacob Igo is a trained Psychologist and Psychometrician who has worked with several organizations in academia, non-governmental organizations, experts in academia among others. His research interest is in Psychological testing and test construction, research methods and methodology in Psychology, data gathering (using different scientific methods) and analytics among others. He has demonstrated this in different areas including resource person at Nigerian Psychological Association Conference, Lafia, (2024), training of academic staff of Madonna University, Okija Campus in the area of data gathering (using survey monkey, google forms, gorilla, vignette, quartrix, among others), data analysis (using SPSS, Excel among others). He worked with International Psychometrics Centre where he taught and helped in developing and directing career prospects in many Nigerian students. He is currently the Head of Department of Psychology, Madonna University Nigeria, Okija Campus. Jacob Igo is a member of many professional organizations including American Psychological Association (APA), Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA), International Test Commission (ITC), Nigerian Association of Industrial and Organizational Psychologists (NAIOP). He has published several academic articles in both local and international journals. He has a dynamic and an easy going personality with expertise in psychological testing and test construction, assessment and measurement, research methods and data collection/analysis among others. He is a good listener with empathic skills and diverse knowledge in all psychological techniques and applications.
