“Dr. Aniebo studied economics in Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife). After a decade of hands-on financial sector experience, he returned to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri where he took an MBA in Strategic Management, and Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka where he obtained MSc & PhD in development economics. His PhD thesis investigated the phenomenon of uphill capital flow in Nigeria, and clarified and addressed the anomaly.
He has taught development and econometrics in Madonna University since 2009, has actively participated in conferences, and crafted or helped to craft over 45 articles in learned journals. His is the blue print by way of research recommendation that has metamorphosed into the bold refinery projects the first of which is the Dangote refinery.
His current research interests focus on development, food and energy poverty, capital flow and the transition to green energy.
He is married with children and has vigorously pursued his private interest which is the role of individual responsibility in the rise and fall of peoples.”
