The Directorate of International Linkages at Madonna University, Nigeria, serves as the university’s hub for establishing and managing strategic relationships with institutions and organizations across the world. Core functions and activities of the Directorate include;
1. Establishment of Global Partnerships: The Directorate initiates and manages Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and academic cooperation agreements with international universities, research centers and professional bodies.
2. Facilitation of Exchange Programs: Coordinates student and staff exchange initiatives that promote cross cultural experiences, joint learning and exposure to global best practices.
3. International Student Affairs: Supports the admission, integration and welfare of international students, ensuring their academic and social success at Madonna University.
4. Joint Research and Conferences: Promotes collaborative research projects, international conferences and publication initiatives that enhance Madonna University’s global research footprint.
5. Capacity Building and Training: Organizes training programs, workshops and seminars in partnership with International institutions to enhance the skills and competencies of staff and students.
6. Representation in Global Academic Networks: Ensures Madonna University's active participation in international academic and professional associations, rankings and benchmarking platforms.
7. Monitoring and Evaluation of Linkages: Evaluates the impact of international collaborations and ensures that they align with the university’s strategic vision and academic standards.
