The Center serves as a pivotal hub for advanced scientific research, practical training and innovation in biotechnology and related disciplines. Strategically aligned with the university’s commitment to excellence in science and health education, the Center supports both academic and applied research endeavors. Core functions and activities of the Center include, advanced research and innovation, academic support and training, quality assurance and analytical services and collaborative projects and partnerships. The center still engages in capacity building and professional development activities. Through these functions, the Central Laboratory and Biotechnology Center reinforces Madonna University’s role as a leader in scientific research and education, contributing to the advancement of biotechnology and its applications in Nigeria and beyond.
